- Local Interest. Subjects include North Yorkshire and Yorkshire authors.
- Local newspapers, including Darlington & Stockton Times and Northern Echo.
- Photocopier. Prices per sheet: A4 B&W 10p, Colour 50p. A3 B&W 25p, Colour £1.
- HLS - (Home Library Service) A free service for people of all ages who are unable to get to the library or carry books themselves

Online Services
You can access online library services via the North Yorkshire Council Website
- Search for books in the library catalogue
- Find out how to Renew Books
- Borrow e-books, magazines, comics, graphic novels or digital audiobooks. You can download the software from NYC’s website. Books can then be downloaded to your own device.
- View library charges. Cash only payments are taken in Bedale library.
- Access online reference sources, including Oxford Dictionary and Encyclopedia Britannica.
There is a North Yorkshire Libraries App which you can download for FREE, to access all the above.
